once you meet this young Panamanian.
Born and raised in a teachers’ family in Panama City,
during many years Ariel has been leading tours for Panama major tour operators, in English, French, Italian and Spanish.
He specializes in Birding and Natural History. though he has a vast knowledge of his nation’s indigenous etnies and history.

A graduate from the University of Panama, Ariel had a two-year stay in Europe where he did an internship at the University of Valladolid in Spain and spent a year in several educational centers in France

After his return from the Old World, He found a booming touristic industry in his country with a need of new blood.  Due to his skills he was rapidly hired and trained by one the biggest tour guide service providers in Panama where he immediately  became one its most valuable additions.

In a short time, Ariel passed from leading day tours to lead incentive, culture, nature and birding programs. Then after getting a lot experience nationwide and a prestigious reputation in the local market he decided to continue on his own as a free-lance.

His love of nature made him become a Panama Audubon Society member in 2001. Since then Ariel has been actively participating in its bird counts, fieldtrips and monthly meetings. His collaboration allowed him to be elected as a Board of Directors' member in 2006.

He’s locally known as an avid birder with a fearless attitude and an impressive sense of humour, who is able to make a single day tour become an outstanding learning journey about Panama.
