Panama Audubon -Fieldtrip to Darien Chepigana Forest Reserve : Panama Audubon began 2008 with a fielddtrip to the Chepigana Forest Reserve at Darien Province led by Venicio Wilson. During the trip, the participants were able to see some Darien lowland specialties and enjoyed the hospitality of the Embera people at La Marea indigenous village.

Panama Audubon - Birdwatching Course at Las Macanas : I spent three days with Rosabel Miró at Herrera Province, teaching birding basics to Las Macanas Marsh Ecotourism Group members. During many years this community organization have been emphasizing about the protection of this Wetland, so Panama Audubon joined to their efforts providing some key knowledge about the area birding potential.
